Police seized a number of fireworks, a large bag of Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) canisters and four cartons of eggs in Welling on Halloween night.

Police said that they “worked until the early hours of the morning” tackling antisocial behaviour.

Officers carried out 26 stop and searches and six of them found items that could lead to further antisocial behaviour in the area.

One person was arrested, and two youths were taken home by officers.

Three community resolutions were made, meaning that an informal agreement was made between the officer and offender to solve the problem.

Two Public Space Protection Orders were put into place in Welling, meaning that conditions and restrictions were put on people using the specified area.

Welling Police tweeted: “Halloween night results.
