TWO people have been treated by ambulance crews after a house fire in Hither Green.
The fire broke out in Littlewood Road just after 7.10am on October 1.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled the blaze.
The first floor of a mid-terrace house was destroyed by the fire.
A man and woman left the building before the arrival of the brigade.
They were assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The fire was under control by 8.15am.
Fire crews from Lewisham, Lee Green, Greenwich, and Deptford fire stations were called to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Littlewood in Hither Green.
“The first floor of a mid-terrace house was destroyed by the fire.
“A man and woman left the building before the Brigade arrived.
“They were assessed on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
“The Brigade was called at 7.12am and the fire was under control by 8.15am.
“Fire crews from Lewisham, Lee Green, Greenwich and Deptford fire stations were at the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
