CHILDREN with special needs now have the chance to have some fun with music.
Bexley Centre for Music and Dance, in Sidcup, is running weekly sessions at the centre, for children who are often not able to take part in mainstream music lessons.
The sessions, on Saturday afternoons, are run by music therapist and teacher Caroline McGonigle, who has worked with disabled adults and young people for years.
The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment and the sessions are designed to build the children's self-confidence. They are introduced to rhythm and learn how to communicate through music. Call Jenny Breen, on 020 8302 1456.
