Editor's note dated May 15, 2024: Daniel Holder was acquitted of three counts of indecent assault of a female, one count of having a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and one count of rape at Croydon Crown Court, on May 2 and 14, 2003.

DETECTIVES investigating the indecent assault of a teenager have taken the unusual step of releasing a picture of a man they want to question.

Daniel Trojan Holder, of Chipperfield Road, St Paul's Cray, is being sought in connection with a brutal attack which left a 14-year-old girl needing hospital treatment.

The girl was found unconscious near the Ladywell Tavern, Ladywell Road, in Lewisham, on August 16 at 11pm.

Police would also like to speak to Holder, 23, about another indecent assault in August 2001.

Detective Inspector Alex Gibbs, of Bromley CID, said: "I would urge anyone who knows Daniel Holder's whereabouts to contact us.

"Any members of the public who see him should not approach him but should call police immediately."

Holder is 6ft tall, of slim build, has a shaven head with one plait and tattoos on both shoulders.

His last known address is Chipperfield Road but police believe he spends a lot of time in the Lewisham and Catford areas.

Anyone with information should call Det Insp Gibbs 020 8284 8774 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
