A suspected class A drug dealer has been charged after police searched an address in Orpington.

On Thursday, August 11, at around 4.50am, police searched an address in Orpington after obtaining a warrant.

Three mobile phones were seized, and a 25-year-old man was arrested.

Shabazz Williams, of Chipperfield Road, Orpington was later charged on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin between December 1, 2021, and August 11, 2022.

He appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 12 and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 9.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “A suspected west Kent class A drug dealer has appeared in court following his arrest in London.

“At 4.50am on Thursday 11 August 2022, a search warrant was executed at an address in Orpington, as part of an investigation by Kent Police’s County Line and Gang Team.

“Three mobile phones were recovered at the property and a man was arrested.

“Shabazz Williams, of Chipperfield Road, Orpington was later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine between 1 December 2021 and 11 August 2022 and being concerned in the supply of heroin between the same dates.

“Mr Williams, aged 25, appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Friday 12 August where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 9 September.”
