POLICE have launched an appeal following a series of burglaries at a block of flats in Lewisham.

The offences took place in Moulding Lane between January 16 and April 9, 2022. 

Officers say special equipment is being used to gain access to the flats.

Items are then stolen including a bike and packages that have been left for residents.

Police have released images of the men that they would like to speak to in connection with the incidents.

Despite active enquiries police have been unable to identify the men.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 and quote reference CAD 4039/04Aug.

Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives are appealing for the public’s help to identify two men after a series of burglaries in Lewisham.

"The offences have occurred between Sunday, 16 January and Saturday, 9 April when the men have managed to gain access to flats in Moulding Lane, Lewisham, SE14.

"The men appear to have planned the burglaries, as they have used special equipment to gain access to the flats.

"Items stolen include a bike and packages that have been left for residents.

"Despite active inquiries police have been unable to identify the men and are asking for the public’s help.

"Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 4039/04Aug.
