A man from Greenwich has appeared in court after being caught with a joint of cannabis at Bexleyheath police station.

Davian Melia-Richards had a joint of herbal cannabis with him at the Bexleyheath police station front office on July 12, 2022.

The 21-year-old was ordered to pay £134 for the offence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on July 13.

This includes a £100 fine and £34 surcharge to fund victim services.

Melia-Richards, of Charlton Church Lane, must pay this by August 10.

At the same court on the same day, he admitted to having a quantity of cannabis with him in Burrage Road on March 2.

Melia-Richards was ordered to pay £134 - a £100 fine and £34 victim services surcharge - for this offence as well.
