A derelict house has been left damaged after a fire in Greenwich.  

The fire broke out in Rooke Way just before 7.30pm yesterday (July 21).  

Half of the first floor of an end of terrace derelict house was damaged by the blaze.  

There were no reports of any injuries.

The fire was under control by 8.05pm. 

Fire crews from East Greenwich, Greenwich, and Deptford fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the brigade and Metropolitan Police. 

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Rooke Way in Greenwich. 

“Half of the first floor of a derelict end-of-terrace house was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries. 

“The Brigade was called at 1928 and the fire was under control by 2005.  

“Fire crews from East Greenwich, Greenwich, and Deptford fire stations attended the scene. 

“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
