A man is wanted in connection with a serious assault which happened in Erith in April last year.

Jeudevnik Selim-Ahmati is wanted in connection with an allegation of GBH with intent following an assault on a man in his late 30s in Pier Road on April 25, 2021.

Officers have warned that if he is seen he should not be approached.

Instead, call 999.

39-year-old Selim Ahmati is originally from Albania and descirbed as medium build with an eastern European accent.

He is known to regularly frequent betting shops.

He has links with the Bexley, Orpington and Greenwich areas.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 on via Twitter at @MetCC quoting 5287/25APR21.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers are releasing an image and appealing for the public's help to find a man wanted in connection with a serious assault.

"Jeudevnik Selim-Ahmati, 39, is wanted in connection with an allegation of GBH with intent following the assault on a man in his late 30s on Sunday, 25 April 2021 in Pier Road, Erith.

"Selim-Ahmati is originally from Albania and is described as medium build with an eastern European accent.

"He is known to regularly frequent betting shops and has links with the Bexley, Orpington and Greenwich areas.

"If seen Selim-Ahmati should not be approached, instead people should dial 999 immediately.

"Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101 or contact via Twitter @MetCC.
