
A woman walking of the hard shoulder of a slip road in Dartford caused long delays for drivers this morning.
The woman was spotted on a slip road close to the junction 1b of the A282 on the hottest day of the year so far.
Temperatures hit around 35 degrees around the time of the incident.

Kent Police closed the road while the woman was located.
She was then passed into the care of the ambulance service.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 10.27am on 19 July 2022, to a report of a woman walking on the hard shoulder of a slip road close to junction 1b of the A282.
“Officers attended and a temporary road closure was put in place.
“The woman was located and has been passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.”
