Drivers in and around Dartford will have 14 National Highways road closures to watch out for over the next fortnight.

And seven of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A282, from 10pm June 27 to 5am July 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing west tunnel, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via Highways England Network.

• A2, from 8pm February 10, 2020, to 4pm June 15 2023, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 eastbound and westbound, Darenth to Ebbsfleet, carriageway, slip road and lane closures and 50mph speed restriction for carriageway widening, structural and signal works, diversion via Highways England and local authority network.

And a further 12 closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A13, from 10pm July 4 to 5am July 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 30, Roundabout and exit slip roads lane closures for lining works, diversion via National Highways network.

• A2, from 10pm July 4 to 6am July 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A2 westbound, junction M25 to Dartford Heath, link road, entry and exit slip road, carriageway closure for parapet works, diversion via local authority network.

• A282, from 10pm July 9 to 5am July 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via Highways England Network.

• A282, from 10pm July 10 to 5am July 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via Highways England Network.

• A282, from 10.30pm July 10 to 5.30am July 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, junction 1b to M25 anti-clockwise, junction 31, Lane closure's for joint replacement works.

• A282, from 10pm July 11 to 5.30am July 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 southbound, junction 1a, exit slip road and lane closure for bridge works, diversion via Highways England Network.

• A282, from 10pm July 11 to 5am July 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing, Tunnel closure for electrical works, diversion via Highways England Network.

• A282, from 10pm July 16 to 5am July 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via Highways England Network.

• A282, from 10pm July 17 to 6am July 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, junction 1b to junction 1a, Lane closure for bridge widening works.

• A282, from 10pm July 17 to 5am July 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, Dartford Crossing, Tunnel closure for maintenance works, diversion via Highways England Network.

• A282, from 10.30pm July 17 to 5.30am July 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A282 northbound, junction 1b to junction 1a, Lane closures for joint replacement works.

• A13, from 10pm July 18 to 5am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 30, Roundabout lane closure for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
