Police are appealing for witnesses after an altercation at a club in Beckenham.

At around 11.45pm on June 4, a customer was "ejected" from Bridge Bar in Beckenham High Street and became aggressive.

Police attended and a 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.

He was taken to a police station in south London.

Due to the allegations not being substantiated, the man was released with no further action.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and urge anyone with information to contact police quoting reference number CAD 008306/04JUN22.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 23:48hrs on 4 June to reports of an altercation at a nightclub at High Street, Beckenham.

"Police attended.

"At the scene a customer had been ejected from the venue and became aggressive.

"A 36-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.

"He was taken to a south London police station.

"Due to the allegations not be substantiated, the male was released with no further action."

Bromley Police tweeted: "Police appealing for witnesses to come forward for an incident at Bridge Bar in Beckenham on 04/06/2022 around the time of 2345.

"Please contact police and quote reference number CAD 008306/04JUN22."
