A shampoo thief from Southwark has been fined in court.

Perry Armstrong admitted to stealing £63.90 worth of shampoo from a Sainsbury's store in Great Suffolk Street on May 29, 2022.

The 25-year-old was ordered to pay £114 for the offence during a hearing at Croydon Magistrates' Court on May 30.

This includes an £80 fine and a £34 surcharge to fund victim services.

Armstrong, of Arnold Estate in Southwark, must pay the balance by June 27.
