Those living in Sydenham have been issued with a warning from police about a surge in doorstep parcel thefts.
Officers say they have seen a rise in the number of doorstep thefts in the area.
Police say to consider nominating a safe place for couriers to leave parcels or nominate a trusted neighbour.
According to police, Sydenham is home to various secure 24 hour parcel collection lockers.
Sydenham Police said: “Be aware, there has been a recent surge in doorstep parcel thefts in the Sydenham area!
“Consider nominating a safe place for couriers or nominate a trusted neighbour.
“There are also various secure 24h parcel collection lockers in the Sydenham area.”
