A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Walworth.
The man was found injured in East Street shortly before 8.30pm yesterday (May 31).
He was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service paramedics before being taken to hospital.
His condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
Two people have been arrested following the incident.
A crime scene has been put in place.
Police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called to East Street, SE17, at 8.26pm on Tuesday, 31 May to reports of a stabbing.
“Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS).
“A man, believed to be 19 years old, was found with stab wounds.
“He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.
“His condition is not life-threatening.
“Two people (no further details) have been arrested.
“A crime scene has been put in place.
“Enquiries continue.”
