Councillor Kate Lymer, Deputy Leader of Bromley Council said: “We are delighted by the record-breaking 305 street parties taking place across Bromley over the special Jubilee bank holiday, as many residents prepare to patriotically celebrate Her Majesty’s outstanding achievement.

"Alongside these local festivities, many residents will be embracing the Jubilee spirit through a host of exciting events from outdoor concerts and film screenings in Queens Gardens, to special family and children’s activities like puppet shows in our libraries.

"We are also preparing to host 7,000 residents for our ‘sold out’ beacon lighting ceremony in Crystal Palace Park, which all gives a flavour of how momentous an occasion we expect the Jubilee to be in Bromley.”
