Police are renewing an appeal to locate a missing man from Sheppey who was seen travelling to the island from Dartford on April 21.

Officers searching for the missing 30-year-old are asking people in the Queenborough, Sheerness and Minster areas of Sheppey to check their gardens and outbuildings.

Erdmanis Liepa is believed to have travelled to the island from Bow Arrow Lane of Dartford on April 21, 2022.

After receiving more information, police believe that he was in the Southdown Road area in Minister on April 28.

Erdmanis is white, around 5ft 10ins tall with brown hair and an average build.

He also wears glasses and goes by the name of Arty.

Anyone with any information about Erdmanis whereabouts should contact police quoting MPXB/3474/22.

Inspector Paul Stoner, from Kent Police, said: “We are concerned for Erdmanis’ wellbeing and urge anyone with information to contact us at their earliest opportunity. Our priority is making sure he has not come to harm.

“Residents, particularly those in Queenborough, Sheerness and Minster, can play a really important role by checking their gardens, sheds and garages to see if he has sought shelter there.

“Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101 and quote MPXB/3474/22 at their earliest opportunity. In the event of an emergency, dial 999.”
