More than 100 fines have been issued over Whitehall and Downing Street lockdown breaches, the Met Police has said.

As of today (Thursday), more than 100 referalls for fixed penalty notices have been made to the ACRO Criminal Records Office over the rule breaks.

The investigation remains live.

On April 12, the Met said more than 50 referrals had been made.

It is understood Prime Minister Boris Johnson has not received another fine, according to the PA News Agency.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "As of Thursday 12 May, Operation Hillman, the investigation into breaches of COVID-19 regulations in Whitehall and Downing Street, has made more than 100 referrals for fixed penalty notices (FPNs) to the ACRO Criminal Records Office.

"These referrals have continued to be made throughout the period since our last update on Tuesday 12 April and the investigation remains live."
