A man has been taken to a major trauma centre after he was injured at a railway station in Bexley this morning.

Emergency services were called just before 9.30am today (May 2) to reports of a person injured at Bexley railway station.

A man was treated at the scene before taken to a major trauma centre in London.

An ambulance, medic, advanced paramedic, an incident response officer, and members of the Hazardous Area Response team arrived at the scene.

Emergency services also dispatched a London Air Ambulance to the scene.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (Monday 2) at 9.26am to reports of a person injured at Bexley railway station.

“We sent an ambulance, a medic in a response car, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer, and members of our Hazardous Area Response team (HART) to the scene.

We also dispatched London’s air ambulance.

“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”
