A 14-year-old boy has been charged following a machete incident outside Deptford station.
Police were called on April 22 just before 6pm to reports of a boy outside the station armed with a machete.
A youth was arrested and taken into custody.
A 14-year-old has now been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
The teen, from Bexley, is due to appear before Bromley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 11.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "A 14-year-old boy has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
"The teenager, from Bexley, is due to appear before Bromley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 11 May.
"Police were called at 17:56hrs on Friday, 22 April to reports of male outside Deptford BR Station armed with a machete.
"Officers responded and a youth was arrested and taken into custody. He was later charged as above."
