A man from Bromley has been fined nearly £800 after dropping and leaving a cigarette on a street.
Clinton Gregory, of Elmscott Road in Bromley, was ordered to pay £784 after depositing a cigarette outside New Loo Broadway in Bexleyheath on September 22, 2021.
This includes a £440 fine, victim services costs of £44 and costs of £300.
The verdict was proved in a single justice procedure at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on April 4, 2022.
Section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applies in this area.
Gregory, 50, must pay for the offence in instalments of £70 per month starting from May 2.
