A woman from Ebbsfleet has been fined after stealing an inflatable hot tub from B&M in Dartford.

Louise Murphy, of Roberts Lane in Ebbsfleet Valley, stole the hot tub worth £550 from the store in Princes Road on March 1, 2022.

The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence at Medway Magistrates’ Court on April 6, 2022.

Murphy was ordered to pay a compensation charge of £275.

She was discharged conditionally for two years.

A surcharge and order for costs were not imposed as the compensation fee was prioritised.

She must pay £20 per month starting on May 4, 2022.
