A man has been charged after £4,500 worth of cannabis and two machetes were found in a discarded bag in Woolwich.
Officers spotted a suspect discarding a bag in Woolwich on March 30 - and went to have a look inside.

There was reportedly a "significant quantity of cannabis consistent with supply" inside, which had an approximate street value of £4,500 including 77 snap bags.
There were also two machetes, and equipment associated with growing cannabis including a lamp and supply scales.

Woolwich police officers found and arrested a suspect the next day.
He has been charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis, possession of cannabis and possession of an article with blade or point.
