Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after police pulled over a car for a broken tail light.

The vehicle was stopped by patrol officers close to Dartford River on March 30.

Kent Police had reason to believe that the men may be linked to burglary and theft related offences outside of Kent.

The 43-year-old men were taken into custody but released on bail until April 19.

The investigations are ongoing.
