A person has died after being hit by a train near Gravesend at Meopham station.
Emergency services were called to reports of a casualty on the tracks shortly after 6.15am today (March 25).
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “British Transport Police were called to Meopham railway station at 6.16am this morning (March 25) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
