A Dartford man has appeared in court after threatening to burn down someone's house with them inside.
David Hamilton admitted to threatening to burn a woman's house down with her inside it on July 27, 2021.
The 55-year-old intended to cause her fear that the threat would be carried out.
Hamilton, of Temple Hill in Dartford, was fined £369 for the offence during a hearing at Medway Magistrates' Court on February 16, 2022.
This includes a fine of £350, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £85 to the CPS.
Hamilton was also issued with a restraining order to not contact the woman directly or indirectly until February 15, 2024.
