Between Tuesday, March 1 and Saturday, March 5, 2022, The Addams family will be showing at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

The story follows the aristocratic family after Wednesday Addams (Kingsley Morton) has grown up and fallen in love with a young man from a “respectable” family.

Only Gomez Addams (Cameron Blakely) knows of the romance, and he must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife Morticia.

The production will be directed by Matthew White, with choreography by Alistair David.

Additional cast members include Scott Paige as Uncle Fester, Grant McIntyre as Pugsley Addams, and Valda Aviks as the eerie Grandma.

Joanne Clifton has starred as Janet in the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show, Alex Owens in the UK tour of Flashdance, and Dale Tremont in Top Hat, where she received her second Offie nomination.

Kingsley, who will play Wednesday Addams in the Addams Family, has revealed her third diary entry to the News Shopper:

"Dear diary, We’re going on a family holiday today, I’m truly looking forward to having a terrible time in Bromley. We have some usual family holiday traditions that I’m absolutely feverish to get on with.

"We’ll start off with a day for mother and father to have some alone time, so Pugsley and I will go with Uncle Fester and Grandma to the nearest Bemusement Park.

"Then we’ll start with the usual scaring of all the little children on their way to their normal school, and of course we’ll do some moon bathing.

"And one of my real favourites is when we take a long midnight stroll to all the local cemeteries and take stock of any of the other Addams descendants that have made their way across to different parts of the world.

"We then dance on their graves to raise their spirits and pay our respects to our family line.

"I wonder how many we’ll find in Bromley.

"Eternally tragic, Wednesday."
