A man who was arrested after the murder of Naomi Hunte in Greenwich has been released on bail.

Naomi Hunte, 41, was found dead after police were called to a house in Congleton Grove at 8.25pm on Valentine's Day.

A post-mortem on February 16 gave cause of death as a stab wound.

A 63-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, February 18.

He has subsequently been bailed pending further enquiries.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Detectives investigating the murder of a woman in Greenwich have arrested a man.

"Naomi Hunte, 41, was found dead after police were called to an address in Congleton Grove, SE18 at 20:25hrs on Monday, 14 February.

"A post-mortem examination took place on Wednesday, 16 February at Greenwich Mortuary and gave cause of death as a stab wound.

"A 63-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, 18 February. He was subsequently bailed pending further enquiries.
