Police have arrested a man with links to Gravesend who allegedly fled the dock during a court hearing.
William Reader, 25, was detained at 5.55pm on Monday, at an address in Britton Street, Gillingham, after he escaped custody at Medway Magistrates Court on February 12.
He was later charged with escaping from lawful custody. He was also charged with assaulting a member of court staff and with possessing cannabis.
Reader, of Middleton Walk, Stockton-on-Tees, Durham was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today (February 15).
