Strictly come dancing star, Joanne Clifton, is set to play the role of fiercely protective Morticia Addams in the UK and Ireland tour of The Addams family.

Between Tuesday, March 1 and Saturday, March 5, 2022, The Addams family will be showing at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

The story follows the aristocratic family after Wednesday Addams (Kingsley Morton) has grown up and fallen in love with a young man from a “respectable” family.

Only, Gomez Addams (Cameron Blakely) knows of the romance, and he must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.

The production will be directed by Matthew White, with choreography by Alistair David.

Additional cast members include Scott Paige as Uncle Fester, Grant McIntyre as Pugsley Addams, and Valda Aviks as the eerie Grandma.

Joanne Clifton has starred as Janet in the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show, Alex Owens in the UK tour of Flashdance, and Dale Tremont in Top Hat, where she received her second Offie nomination.

The Addams family UK tour is produced by Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment and Music & Lyrics Limited and is presented through special arrangement with Theatrical Rights Worldwide.
