From today (January 22), London is predicted to see predominantly clouds until later next week.

With chilly temperatures and the occasion of sunny intervals in some areas, the majority of the capital will remain dry until the end of next week.

The Met Office says the weather will be “predominantly overcast, with a small chance of cloud breaks.”

The dry spell is predicted to continue until at least Wednesday next week (January 26).

Tonight (January 22): Staying dry and predominantly overcast, with just a small chance of temporary cloud breaks which could lead to a localised slight frost.

However, most places will be frost free.

Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Sunday (January 23): Another dry and predominantly cloudy day, with light winds. Some cloud breaks and sunny intervals may develop, but they will be very limited.

Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Dry and mostly cloudy throughout the period. Some frost and patches of fog overnight where breaks develop in the cloud.

 Light winds with temperatures close to, or slightly below, average.
