A dispersal order has been issued in the area surrounding an Erith school after reports of fighting.
Police received reports of males fighting at multiple locations near King Henry School, on Avenue Road, yesterday afternoon.
The section 35 order, applying to the DA8 postcode, allows police to break up groups causing “nuisance, harassment or distress”.
It is authorised until 5pm on Saturday (January 22), having come into force at 5pm on Thursday.
King Henry School, formerly Erith Grammar School and later Erith School, is a mixed secondary and sixth form, with more than 1,500 pupils.
