A woman from Orpington has been fined nearly £400 for not paying a £1.75 Southeastern train fare.
Helen Garcia was found guilty of travelling on a Southeastern train on May 21 without paying the fare and with intent to avoid patment.
The 21-year-old, of Wichling Close in Orpington, was subsequently ordered to pay £390.75 for the offence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on January 5, 2022.
This includes a fine of £220, compensation of £1.75, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.
This must be paid by February 2.
