A Jaguar driver has been slapped with a hefty fine after driving at double the speed limit on a road in Greenwich.
Philip Mahoney admitted to exceeding the 20mph speed limit in Woolwich Road on June 12, 2021.
The 52-year-old drove a Jaguar along the road at 40mph when he was caught by a Pro Laser 4 camera.
Mahoney, of Tyland Lane in Maidstone, was fined £448 and given six points on his licence during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on January 12, 2022.
The £448 includes a £314 fine, £34 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £100.
He must pay this by February 8.
