South east Londoners have been fined nearly £5,000 collectively already this January for not paying the full fare for their train journeys.

We've rounded up all the people who have been convicted for travelling further than their ticket allowed - and it totals £4,909.85.

The individual fines handed out at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5 range from £297.80 to £405.40.

The offence is described by the courts as "knowingly and wilfully proceeding by train beyond the distance paid for and without previously paying the additional fare for the additional distance and with intent to avoid payment thereof".

The cases are as follows:

Sandra Aguirre

The 54-year-old, of SE9, paid for a journey between London Charing Cross and New Eltham on May 14, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

She admitted to the offence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Aguirre was ordered to pay £342 - including a £123 fine, £5.80 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

She must pay this by February 2.

John Anohomah

The 46-year-old, of SE6, paid for a journey between Catford Bridge and London Bridge on May 20, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in his absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Anohomah was ordered to pay £393.80 - including a £220 fine, £4.80 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.

Adrian Capatina

The 30-year-old, of SE2, paid for a journey between London Charing Cross and Bexleyheath on May 20, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

He admitted to the offence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Capatina was ordered to pay £342 - including a £166 fine, £7 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.

Emanuela Comandini

The 24-year-old, of SE13, paid for a journey between London Bridge and Plumstead on May 21, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in her absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Comandini was ordered to pay £394.80 - including a £220 fine, £5.80 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

She must pay this by February 2.

Paul Dunne

The 32-year-old, of SE6, paid for a journey between London Bridge and Catford Bridge on May 20, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in his absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Dunne was ordered to pay £393.80 - including a £220 fine, £4.80 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.

Leo Indaze

The 36-year-old, of SE9, paid for a journey between London Waterloo East and New Eltham on May 21, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in his absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Indaze was ordered to pay £394.80 - including a £220 fine, £5.80 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.

Dmitrijis Lavrinovics

The 36-year-old, of SE9, paid for a journey between London Waterloo East and New Eltham on May 21, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in his absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Indaze was ordered to pay £394.80 - including a £220 fine, £5.80 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.

Ikechukwu Nwabynie

The 31-year-old, of SE15, paid for a journey between Chatham and London Victoria on May 21, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in his absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Indaze was ordered to pay £405.40 - including a £220 fine, £16.40 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.

Abdul Rahman

The 42-year-old, of BR1, paid for a journey between Grove Park and London Charing Cross on May 25, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in his absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Rahman was ordered to pay £396.25 - including a £220 fine, £7.25 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.

Evelin Ramirez

The 37-year-old, of SE6, paid for a journey between Catford Bridge and London Charing Cross on May 21, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in her absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Ramirez was ordered to pay £393.80 - including a £220 fine, £4.80 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

She must pay this by February 2.

Jorge Vargas

The 27-year-old, of BR2, paid a fare for a journey between London Bridge and Petts Wood on May 20, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

The verdict was proved in his absence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Vargas was ordered to pay £396 - including a £220 fine, £7 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.

Oleksiy Yurchenko

The 45-year-old, of SE9, paid for a journey between Grove Park and London Charing Cross on May 25, 2021 but travelled further without a ticket.

He admitted to the offence during a hearing at Bexley Magistrates' Court on January 5.

Yurchenko was ordered to pay £381.80 - including a £207 fine, £5.80 compensation, £34 to fund victim services and costs of £135.

He must pay this by February 2.
