NOTE: Vince Palermo has now been found

Police are appealing for help in finding a missing man from Lewisham - as concerns for his welfare grow.

Vince Palermo was last seen in the Eltham area at around 11am on Thursday, January 13.

The 37-year-old is white, around 5ft 9inches tall, has slight facial hair and short black hair.

He has a tattoo saying Mum on his neck and Millie on his right hand.

Vince was last seen wearing a black puffa coat, a white jumper, grey jeans and black trainers.

Officers and his family are increasingly concerned for his welfare.

His partner said: “Vince we love you and we miss you and we are all worried about you.

"The kids miss you and love you.

"Please reach out and get the help you need and come home, we are all worried.

"Anyone who has any information about where Vince may be, please contact police.”

Anyone who has seen Vince or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 999 quoting reference number 22MIS001339.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: " Police are appealing to the public to help them find a missing man from Lewisham.

"Vince Palermo, 37, was last seen in the Eltham area at about 11:00hrs on Thursday, 13 January.

"Vince is white, about 5ft9ins tall, with slight facial hair and short black hair.

"He has a tattoo saying ‘Mum’ on his neck and ‘Millie’ on his right hand.

"He was last seen wearing a black puffa coat, a white jumper, grey jeans and black trainers.

"Officers and his family are growing increasingly worried for his welfare.

"Anyone who has seen Vince or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call police on 999 quoting reference number 22MIS001339.

"Information can also be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org."
