TWO catalytic converter thefts were reported on the same night this week in Welling and Eltham.
Police were called on Wednesday (January 5) to Swanley Road in Welling at 8.27pm.
Officers also reported to Earshall Road in Eltham on the same night at 8.53pm.
The suspects in both incidents fled in a car before police had arrived at the scenes.
There have been no arrests made in relation to either incident.
Police says enquiries are ongoing following the theft in Welling.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 8.27pm on January 5 to Swanley Road, Welling, following reports of a catalytic converter theft.
“The suspects fled in a car before police arrival.
“There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing."
A further Met Police statement said: “Police were called at 8.53pm on January 5 to Earshall Road, Eltham, to reports of a catalytic converter theft.
“The suspects fled in a car prior to police arrival.
“There have been no arrests.”
