A 32-year-old from Dartford was fined more than £600 after being caught driving without a valid licence in an uninsured car.
Luke Smith, 32, of Cedar Road, was found to have driven a Ford Transit along Rennie Drive on May 14 last year without insurance, in breach of the Road Traffic Act.
He also lacked a valid licence for the vehicle, in breach of the Road Traffic Offenders Act.
He was slapped with a £635 fine for the two offences during a hearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on December 1 after pleading guilty.
This includes an initial £500 fine, £50 to fund victim services and costs of £85 which must be paid by January 6.
The defendant was also disqualified from driving for six months.
