Kick the January blues with the latest and greatest shows premiering at Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

There are a number of entertaining shows coming up– including a tribute to the ‘King of Rock n Roll’ Elvis Presley and a murder mystery expected to keep you on the edge of your seat.

We’ve put together a list of when and what you can expect to see in the coming weeks.

The Da Vinci Code

Monday, January 10 to Saturday, January 15

The first ever stage adaptation of Dan Brown’s best-selling thriller, The Da Vinci Code, premieres at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley this January.

The Da Vinci Code intends to follow a pulse- racing journey as Professor Robert Langdon and cryptologist Sophie Neveu, attempt to solve the riddles, leading to the works of Leonardo Da Vinci and beyond.

The play will feature stars such as Danny John–Jules, Hannah Rose Caton, Joshua Lacy and Nigel Harman, who has the main role as Robert Langdon.

One Night of Elvis

Sunday, January 16

Known to be Europe’s most successful Elvis Presley tribute artist, Lee Memphis King is set to perform an “incredibly passionate” performance as the King of rock ‘n roll for one night only.

The show will feature an orchestra of world-class musicians and backing vocalists, combined with video screen projection mapping out Elvis’s life and music.

This premier is dedicated entirely to Elvis Presley’s life in Vegas, where he would perform and tour throughout the US and Canada – with inspiration from the films ‘Elvis- That’s the Way It Is’, ‘Elvis On Tour’ and the ‘Aloha from Hawaii’ concert.

The Rocket Man

Wednesday, January 19 This UK tour is set to take viewers on a “magical” night in honour of Sir Elton John.

Members of the public are invited to experience a two hour performance of the famous Elton John hits, performed by Jimmy Love.

With legendary costumes and iconic piano solos, Jimmy intends to perform Elton’s beloved hits such as Your Song, Saturday Nights Alright and I’m Still Standing.

As well as this, the live performance says to journey into the highs and lows of Sir Elton John’s life in the spotlight.

This performance is only available to watch for one night only.

Big Girls Don’t Cry

Friday, January 21

Big Girls Don’t Cry is a show celebrating the sounds of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

The performance intends to take the audience back in time to the swinging era of the sixties and seventies - when hits like Sherry, December 1964 (Oh What a Night) and Big Girls Don’t Cry helped Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons rise to stardom.

This internationally acclaimed show revives the harmonies of the New Jersey icons.

Cluedo

Friday, January 28 to Saturday, February 5

This comedy thriller is based on the classic board game that is loved by all generations.

Starring Michelle Collins as Miss Scarlett and directed by Mark Bell, this brand new play coming to the Churchill Theatre in January 2022 promises a nostalgic and action-packed evening of entertainment.

The play aims to have the audience questioning who the culprit may be, right up until the finale.
