A deadly weapon was seized on Christmas Day in Dartford as several arrests were made.

Dartford police officers said it was a "busy" day on Saturday, despite it being Christmas Day.

Several arrests were made according to the officers.

One incident involved a knife and saw a "deadly weapon" seized.

As a result, one man is in custody on suspicion of various offences, including possession of an offensive weapon according to police.

Kent Police Dartford said: "Another busy day for #LPT3 despite it being Christmas Day!

"Several arrests made.

"This deadly weapon was seized following our response to a knife incident in #Dartford.

"1 male in custody for various offences including possession of an offensive weapon. #NotInOurTown 25-0911."
