Three people are in hospital after a crash involving five vehicles, including lorries, at Dartford Crossing.

The crash happened at around 12.25pm on Wednesday on the A282 clockwise near to junction B.

Three people are receiving treatmeent for facial injuries at a local hospital.

The lorries involved had white cabs and were manufactured by Volvo and DAF.

The vehicles involved were a white Renault Captur, a blue Honda Jazz and a DAF car transporter.

Kent Police’s Roads Policing Unit are investigating the circumstances and believe there are several witnesses of the crash that are yet to speak with an officer.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: "Information is sought following a five vehicle collision which took place near the Dartford Crossing.

"At 12.24pm on Wednesday 15 December 2021, a collision happened on the clockwise A282, near junction 1b.

"The lorries involved both had white cabs and had been manufactured by Volvo and DAF respectively.

"The vehicles involved were a white Renault Captur, a blue Honda Jazz and a DAF car transporter.

"Three people received treatment at a local hospital for facial injuries.

"Kent Police’s Roads Policing Unit are investigating the circumstances and believe there are several witnesses who may have witnessed the collision that are yet to speak with an officer.
