While formal identification is yet to take place, officers believe the victim was Ian Gualavisi.

Gualavisi was a restaurant manager who had lived in London since birth.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

A post-mortem examination will take place on Thursday, December 16.

Police were called at 7.45pm on Tuesday, December 14 to the stabbing at a restaurant in Maldonado Walk, off Hampton Street.
