A man has been fined for stealing Adidas tracksuit bottoms in south east London.

David Guerwin admitted to stealing four pairs of Adidas tracksuit bottoms from Sports Direct in Walworth Road.

The trackies, which the 39-year-old stole on September 14 this year, totalled a value of £139.96.

Guerwin, of Hillfield Road in north west London, has since been fined £219 during a hearing at Croydon Magistrates' Court on November 23.

He appeared in court via live link.

This includes a £100 fine, a £34 surcharge for victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

It was ordered to be paid on the day of the court hearing.
