There will be extra police activity in the area (Met)
An anti-social dispersal zone is in force for 24 hours across Thamesmead “in anticipation of disorder.”
The measure, which allows police to order people to leave an area, is authorised from 2pm today, until 2pm tomorrow (December 9) within the boundary of Eastern Way, Central Way and Carlyle Road.
It includes Cannon Retail Park, Joyce Dawson Shopping Centre and Thamesmead Shopping Centre.
There will be extra police activity in the area to enforce the order.
