Police are seeking a man charged with violent offences last known to be staying at a Crystal Palace hotel after he failed to attend court.

Danny Sawyer, 42, was due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 3 November after being charged with multiple offences including criminal damage, two counts of assault of an emergency worker and possession of points and blades in a public place.

He was last known to be staying at a hotel in the Crystal Palace area, but it is believed he may now be sleeping rough in either Putney or Battersea.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 101 providing the reference 532/04OCT. For an immediate sighting dial 999.

Information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
