Two 13-year-old boys were mugged by a group of teenagers in Beckenham who claimed to be armed.
Police were called to reports of a robbery on the High Street at around 7.20pm on Tuesday, November 16.
Officers attended and spoke to two boys, aged 13, who said they had been approached by a group of three teenagers.
The group implied they had a weapon, stealing a phone and bag from one of the victims.
They also demanded one of the victims hand over his necklace, which he did. No weapon was seen, the Met said.
The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.
A search of the area was carried out by officers, but no trace was found. Enquiries are ongoing.
