THE pub franchise Greene King has announced plans to restore the Guy Earl of Warwick pub.
The franchise is now renovating the pub and looking to reopen the premises as of January 2022.
Refurbishment is set to commence in the next few weeks.
A spokesman for the Guy Earl of Warwick said: “We are pleased to say we have a new operator who will be running the pub.
"We are looking forward to welcoming customers back into the pub and being part of the community once again in the new year.”
Greene King are also the owners of two other pubs within the Welling area, the Nags Head in Welling High Street and the We-Anchor-In-Hope in Bellegrove Road.

The pub had previously closed its doors during the Coronavirus pandemic.
It is located on Park View Road next to Welling Football Stadium.
