A dispersal order has been issued in Woolwich Town centre and surrounding areas.
The power is to break up groups of two or more people who are causing a nusiance, harassment or distress.
The order is in place from 12pm on November 2 to 7am on November 4.
It follows the injuring of a police officer in Woolwich on Sunday night, Halloween, when teens were throwing explosives towards buses and cars.
The order has been authorised by Inspector Engelbrecht.
