A video of a group of men dressed as Insulate Britain protesters for Halloween has gone viral.

The TikTok video, posted by artist and songwriter @alikaofficial, has been liked on the app more than 23,000 times and has received hundreds of comments and shares.

It shows four men in orange high-vis jackets and hard-hats stood in the road with a red and blue Insulate Britain sign and a megaphone.

The video is captioned "they win" with a hysterical laughter emoji.

Passers-by can be seen and heard laughing at the costumes as the 'protesters' blocked a black BMW car in the road - mimicking Insulate Britain's recent disruption on busy motorways.

Most recently, Insulate Britain activists switched up their protest tactics by walking towards oncoming traffic on the M25.

The group said the decision to stop sitting in the middle of roads to block vehicles had been made following “feedback” that many drivers were frustrated by their actions.

Insulate Britain today (Sunday) posted a screenshot of those dressed up as them on their Instagram page - saying their "movement is growing".

The group said "Insulate Britain supporters were out last night calling for the government to do what's right."

Some have dubbed the costumes as the "best yet", while others have commented on how "brilliant" the Halloween outfits were.
