A dispersal order has been issued in Woolwich following anti-social behaviour.

Greenwich Police said youths had been throwing fireworks in and around General Gordon Square in Woolwich.

Inspector Beeching therefore authorised a dispersal zone for 48 hours from 6.45pm on Thursday to 6.45pm on Saturday.

The area includes:

John Wilson Street

Woolwich High Street

Beresdford Street

Plumstead Road

Burrage Road

Plumstead Common Road

Nightingale Place

Grand Depot Road

 Greenwich Police said "Following antisocial behaviour involving youths throwing fireworks in and around General Gordon Square in Woolwich, Insp Beeching has authorised a dispersal zone for 48hrs from 1845hrs this evening for the area enclosed by the following roads:-

"John Wilson St, Woolwich High St, Beresford St, Plumstead Rd, Burrage Rd, Plumstead Common Rd, Nightingale Place, and Grand Depot Road."
